Are you overweight? Or do you feel as though you need to ditch the comfort foods and start leading a more healthy and active life but just can’t begin to? Well, you are not alone. More people are now classed as overweight or obese than ever before.

Most of us are guilty of comfort eating at some point in our lives. Whether due to a break-up or another stressful situation, who hasn’t reached for their favourite comfort food? Biscuits and chocolate are mine. Perhaps you are someone who has been conditioned to eat everything on your plate. Our parents are well intentioned but after years of being told things such as, ‘there are people starving in the world’ or ‘you are not allowed to leave the table until you are finished’, you are conditioned to finish everything on your plate even if you are full. Or are you someone who reaches for one biscuit and then another and another until the packet has gone?

For many people diets just do not work. Sometimes they work in the short term but weight is easily and readily gained again so many people end up with their weight yo-yoing. In a bid lose weight again, they jump from different types of diet. This can be detrimental to someone’s physical health and mental well-being, with many people ending up with low self-esteem and a lack of confidence. So, how do you feel about yourself? Are you the size you want to be?

However, I do not make your weight magically disappear in one week but you will feel good about yourself whilst losing weight safely and gently.
